I’ve just been wading through the email that accumulated over the long summer break and found virtually nothing of interest. A lot of wasted time but a nice clean inbox to start with.
I’ve won the usual lotteries, Italian, Dutch, Irish, UK and several BMW’s. My beloved friend Mr. Oboto from Nigeria has left me another $75 million and I won’t be able to take up one of the 500 job offers in China as I’m too busy spending the money.
One thing I’m really pleased about is that my new anti spam system is dumping most of this garbage and only 2 or 3 spam messages get through.
Talking of garbage I’ve got an inbox full of the latest “super guru” packages that will make me a millionaire if I spend $500 to $1000. I still find it hard to believe that some people will spend this sort of money to buy a magic bullet to cure all their Internet problems rather than work at setting up a “real business”.
A decade ago it was called “Biz Opps” where large amounts of money were spent on Business Opportunities that in the main were totally useless or impractical for “normal” people. It now goes under the name of Internet Marketing.
Of course not everybody is a scam artist or trying to rip you off. I’ve recently joined a couple of mentor schemes just to see whether they work or not. I’ll write up a review in about a couple of months. You’re probably thinking the cost will be hundreds a month for a real mentor. The actual cost is $40 per month for the two schemes.
I’ve never believed that greater success means just paying higher fees for everything and I’ll prove it one way or another with the two schemes I’ve joined.
